This is an experimental client.

This one covers a bug which caused a 1-minute delay in adjacent regions appearing. A new fix was supposed to fix that, and this is the test run. It seems to be fixed.

This is a drive around the Circuit de Corse in Second Life, a nice hour-long drive. It's a test of region crossings.
As something to watch, it's rather boring. It's just an hour of driving. The point is that nothing major breaks.

There's a problem with Second Life servers not providing certain information needed for a viewer to connect properly to a neighbor region. The standard viewers work around that server problem and display the region even though it is not fully connected. So users enter the region. Entering a partially connected region usually works, but sometimes it fails.

This viewer won't show a region until it is fully connected. In this demo, using our Sharpview viewer (all new, all safe Rust code) we wait for regions to become visible before driving into them. We have not yet seen a region crossing failure in this mode. We have seen region crossing failures when entering regions not fully live.

This provides a strong hint that what we call the "delayed EnableAgentCommunication bug" is responsible for some region crossing failures.

A test of Sharpview, an experimental client for metaverses. It's a half hour of walking the roads in the Robin Loop area of Second Life, with occasional looks into businesses open to the public.

Now this is what a metaverse item store should look like. This is video from a live demo, rendered at 60 FPS, with user-created content loaded from remote servers as needed. No missing objects, no blurry half-loaded textures.

Trouble with viewing frustum culling. Only useful to renderer devs.
